Ankur DFW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization bringing together culture, community, and social impact across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.

Rooted in the rich heritage of Eastern India, Ankur DFW's A.C.T. Performing Arts Group celebrates and preserves culture through music, theatre, dance, literature, festivals, sports, and community events, while creating opportunities for families and generations to connect.

Our Mission

Building Sustainable Communities through Performing Arts

A.C.T. Performing Arts Group is Ankur DFW's flagship community focused initiative on cultural preservation. As a nonprofit organization, we  dedicate ourselves to community engagement, arts & culture, diversity, and building a sustainable future. 

Cultural events are the best means to engage communities through performing arts and story telling throughout the year, with ACT~ON as its annual celebration of communities.

The fundamental focus of A.C.T. Performing Arts Group, or simply known as Ankur ACT, is to preserve, promote and practice cultural heritage toward sustainable community engagements.

Our Way of Life

The primary focus areas of Ankur DFW and A.C.T. Performing Arts Group,  are to promote:
